Right now we have some decent weather. But we are watching Irene closely. If it does head inland and pass by here there are three of my friends that want to leave their bikes in the shop. Then when it does come they want to come over and go for a ride in it. So I said 'What the hell" count me in. It will be a short ride, just a mile or two, But how many people can say they rode in a hurricane????

[quote=grbrown;8737682Throwing it down with rain here at present, so no play for now (I have to turn things outside to make room to work in the garage). Have you chaps had any summer worthy of the name? Still seem to be waiting for ours! Hot cinnamon rolls seem even better now I think of it....[/quote]

We are entering the 71st day of 100+ degrees (fahrenheit) over here. Haven't had any rain worth mentioning for over 3 months.

Riding in a hurricane? Sounds nuts!!!
Wish I was there (nobody ever accused me of sanity)
Good luck

we watched some of the Michigan Weather Watch alerts last night on the channel we were watching.
Tornado warnings all over the state.
Golf ball sized hail

Not gonna complain about a little rain here anymore.

We have a friend called Irene - I'll ask her what mischief she's up to!

We had a long period of drought earlier this year, but it wasn't very summery weather. If you could just send a little of your sun over that would be wonderful! Raining heavily again right now.

I would be happy to just give me an address to ship it to.
We would really appreciate it if you sent the rain back in exchange.
