My bike was intended to be black, but back in 1989/90 the pressure on Harley to make bikes was so great the dealers had to order the whole year's bikes in advance, so as I couldn't find a black one it had to be blue or red. So blue it was! But flames don't do it for me, so it would have to be plain black, perhaps with a few coach lines.
You mean all plain black like Bertha?
Ignore all of those other silly colors... Black and Chrome are the only important ones...
ok, if it's that obvious, why have you been here? cake? camraderie? (sp) LOL
LOL...good question! yer my only friends, sniff
For the last 3 months been working pretty much 7 days a week/11 hours a day. (just like last summer )
Ride to work, and ride on nice evenings.
Did get in 2 long rides in June, one with the wife.
At this pace my EVO may last forever!
Got plans for August though. Bonneville Speed Week, and NW Rally on the way home, followed by a jaunt on the Oregon Coast.
I like white too, Graham. Just bought this new 2011 Avalanche LTZ in White Diamond Tricoat two weeks ago. It's slightly off-white, with tiny gold metalflake in it... not far from Birch White, I suppose. The paint looks 6 inches deep, and just glistens in the sun, and it has every option imaginable - including heated and cooled seats. No kidding... I couldn't believe it when I saw it. So decadently over-the-top American... but sweaty butts are simply unacceptable!
