Yippee! All the maintenance is done and I'm heading off to Phoenix on Thursday. Should be about 5,000 miles over 11 days. Can't wait. Tried out the new Barnett Carbon Fiber Clutch plates and M6 tensioner yesterday. What a difference! Crisp shifts and easy to find neutral...wow. Highly recommended. The Rivera TaperLites, combined with the Johnson big axle lifters really quieted down the top end as well. It's my first visit, any recommendations on places to stop in Arizona, New Mexico, California and Nevada?

If you get around souther California, stop by Ghetto Choppers in Oceanside, ask for Tim and tell him I sent you. He is a great guy and builds some nice no frills choppers.

Arizona. Sedona, small town but one of the places you should see in your life, Jerome is a short ride from there, good views. The ride from Sedona to Flagstaff, (Oak Creek Canyon), should be killer in the spring. Make sure you have warm gear if you go through Flag.......can get pretty chilly. Check weather.

Enjoy that ride. Sounds like heaven.

Still preparing our old Glide for the next trip we have planned. Had a mercy trip to a distant Harley dealer to get a trans cover gasket, so I can finish fitting my smart new shiney Diamondback clutch cable. Once that is on I can fit my new SuperMegs exhaust. Hope that fits easily, as everything I have touched lately has caught me out in some way.

Hi John, I'm about 90 miles away, on the other side of London. I didn't know Bernie I'm afraid. Some relatives lived in Aylesford for many years, so I've been there a few times, but not for quite a while.

Hey Graham,
Let us know what you think of the Supermegs, would ya? They sound good on the youtube clips. And supposed to make good power.
On the short list for pipes I'd like.

Wilco Dale. I'm up to my elbows in oils at present, having made a mess taking the trans cover off to fit my new clutch cable. Darned stuff's everywhere, having moved the bike and forgot the cover was off! Had a long drive yesterday to get to a dealer with a new trans cover gasket.

I did kinda the same thing while working on the front brakes. Had the mc cover off and turned the handle bars the other way..................
