Peace and Quiet with an Evo!

Not yet! We just got back home from Scotland, visiting friends and family. Had high winds, hail, snow, heavy rain. Had the car windshield wipers on everywhere we went, including the town of Dollar! Great old castle there. Don't believe the pictures! We never saw any sun.

We finally had a couple of nice days. Pal of mine just got back from Australia, where they are having summer at present, bragging about the high temps they have been having - too hot to ride!
He likes to remind me of the muscle car market out there, so here is a link for your entertainment. FPV is Ford Performance Vehicles and they make a range of autos with supercharged V8s. Translating their metric data, the GT gives 449HP and 420TQ. I doubt if there is much peace and quiet driving a 335GT!

Just spent ten days in South Carolina buying a new house. Coolest day was in the lower 60's and the warmest was upper eighties. Got back home in time for the first day of spring--Two inches of snow plus a lot of slop, only in the northeast. Calling for more snow on Wednesday!!!!!!! Can't wait to get South!!!

Now Dale, I wouldn't want you to make any hasty decisions! General Motors trades in Oz as Holden and they have HSV, Holden Special Vehicles. The two firms have been locked in mortal combat for your money and on the race track for decades. Their GTS has a Corvette LS3 motor no less, with almost identical numbers of 435HP and 405TQ.
The cream of Oz racing is at their Mount Panama circuit at Bathurst, scene of an annual 1,000km battle, including Conrod Straight, a long downhill run which needs no explanation!

Congratulations on your new pad and best wishes for the move.

On another thread I see there is a new guy with another 98 Anniversary colours Wideglide. From New Zealand.
Wonder what kind of cake they eat in NZ?
Nice weather is here, and riding is under way. Not in the mountains yet, but around town!
Funny how one can forget how great it is to get out for a couple hours.
And my bike is running awesome!
Have a great weekend, fellow Evo-ists....Evo-manians....Evo-people?
What the heck are we called anyhow?
