Dry roads today, and warm enough to ride!
Now if the little stomach virus thing would just give me some time off the white throne.....
Watch out for this bug. Not nice.

Going to be a while here, hoping the ground hog is true to its word.
But on another note the blast furnace went down a couple weeks back and plate & strip won't be rolling for another week so I now have some serious time to start putting the bike back together.

Cincinnati style Chili, Skyline and Gold Star - good stuff but they give you beans as a 4th or 5th option so must have some Texas background. The way I look at it is, Chili without beans makes you full of chit!

Default Tinkering

You sure are right about the ease of tinkering when it comes to EVO's vs the new machines MJ. I've gone back "old school" & recently acquired a 1992 FXRS-CON. I got caught up in new bike fever for a few years, I'm selling the 07 stage 3 street glide and slowin down to EVO speed again. Kinda hard to get OEM parts at times though.

Welcome to the forum. Good move, I sold my 02 Dyna and all my attention is now to the EVO. Haven't had a problem as yet for EVO stuff.

Had an evening of anything but peace and quiet yesterday. Went to see Roxy Music in concert in London. All the old numbers with most of the original line-up. Got home 1am, weary but happy! Avalon playing in the background. Must dig out all those original LPs.....

For 2 days I've had Avalon in my head!
Gonna have to download some Roxy Music into the collection. Along with the Steely Dan in my head.
Good call, GR.

Last time I saw them was the Avalon tour, some years ago! There were three singers, two tall and leggy, one short and dumpy. It was the short one who did a remarkable job with those vocal gymnastics, which they strung out remarkably well. Monday's Avalon was also brilliant but not made such a feature of.

'Texas' was done to a backdrop of 50s American cars projected onto the screen at the back of the stage!
