Peace and Quiet with an Evo!

We will of course be passing through Székesfehérvár on our way there from Budapest, but I have no idea how to get my tongue around that one! The maps from that part of the world are worth a browse, just to see what imaginative combinations of letters get mixed up together to make up place names.

miacycles: That was the most unique wedding video I believe I have ever seen! I LOVED the groomsman who asked, "Can I pull up my pants?" and the response, "NO!" Sweet!!! My pet peeve is the idiotic prison pants look. Why do the punks think anyone wants to see their underwear?! I tell my students the true origin of the look to encourage them to wear jeans that fit, but they tend to be sheep. Sorry, off the soapbox.
NGH: You have the best worst travel story this week...still waiting for schwangster to fill us in on his travels...and of course Graham will have stories for us later (please use your phonetic breakdown with every spelled out city/town/place, Graham. It truly does help...no matter how ridiculous I look sitting here sounding it out )

Fortunately enough of them understand English and like to practice talking it that we find we can get by. 'Thank you' in Czech is 'děkuju' (something like 'day-koo-yoo') and in Hungarian is 'köszönöm', but I can't help you pronounce that one yet! Mrs B has a few colleagues from Eastern Europe who we consult for such things. It is useful to manage those at the very least and sometimes gets the most wonderful response when we do.

AND Graham, I see you have been THANKED !
Lucky bugger, but deseved.
woman, my little adventure here in Mexico is plain compared to GR and NGH and crew. We are not doing resorts as we know the area too well. My wife was from La Paz. Also have Canadian friends in Cabo and area, so we do what the locals do. Biggest unfortunate on this trip is my brother in law burned his arms just before we got here, with gasoline at work. He is healing, but it put a damper on our spearfishing and diving. Plus a norté has been blowing for 4 days, stirring up the ocean, so the diving is not good.
But we did go watch the kite surfers at La Ventena, a world class area for that sport. Those guys and gals were jumping waves and getting huge air, as well as speed. Tempted to try it, but the learning curve is brutal and takes more than a day. The winds were out of beginners league.
We went to a wedding last weekend, and it was indescribable. Wealthy Mexican friends with nothing held back. Outdoors in a ´manicured jungle´setting, with a live mariachi, native gourmet food, then a kickass band dancing until.... well, it was late when we were driven to a hotel.
Weather is getting back to warmer again now that the winds have died down. We have fishing, horseriding, a hike up a canyon and beaching to do. Heading home next Tuesday.
That´s it.

Dale, I would love to oblige, but unfortunately there are only four H-D dealers in the whole of Hungary. We might find time to visit the one in Budapest (a mercifully easy name to pronounce!). Those of you fluent in Hungarian won't need to be told to press the 'Jelentkezés Tesztmotorozásra' button, second from right at the top, to see a map of their locations! For some strange reason there seems to be a link between the Hungarian dealers and H-D UK.
I have a T-shirt from Moscow H-D that a Russian friend got for me when he went back to Moscow for a Christmas visit a few years ago. I love the shirt, but "Large" in Russia is not the same as "Large" here in the states. I look like one of the in it...
