Where I'm at there are so many Harleys and riders that we just kinda blend in with the traffic now, for good and bad.
Must be interesting to be rare in a large country.

Awesome cake, by the way. I got some fresh-ground beans brewing. Help yourself!

Actually, is funny the public perception of Harley riders here, most of the rally`s and "outlaw" bikers ride old metric touring bikes. yeah, go figure most of the local HA ride viragos, intruder`s and shadow, very few of them ride`s harley.
So the general public looks to the general rider`s like a bunch of outlaws but they look to Harley riders like wealthy old men with a midlife crisis.
Which is not very far from the truth, 90% of the harley`s here do less than 600 miles a year and belong to businessman`s.

I don't know... but they are probably the fine threads... 32 TPI? Or maybe 24 TPI.

John - I've been through Bluffton many times on the way to HHI before they built the 278 bypass bridge. Beautiful area!

I would volunteer to be your apprentice in a New York Minute - but unfortunately my wife and I both still have full-time jobs, and we're not quite in the financial position we need to be to retire from them just yet. But I would love to work on motorcycles someday...

(that would be you on the left, after I broke off a bolt head or did something else stupid!)

Ok hold your horses (That's an Argentina Joke!!!) The bolts for the Clutch and brake are 1/4-20X1 1/8" and the switches are #10-24X1/2". The 1 1/8" may be hard to find as they are not a common length. I would try a good industrial supply house as a source. You will probably want them in stainless steel so you can polish the heads and make them pretty. Hope this helps.
P.S. If you have a parts manual for your bike, in the back is a table that converts part numbers to bolt, nut, washer, and screw sizes, it is very handy when swapping out hardware.

ya, he started it all right. Gonna get this place shut down with jokes like that!

It may just be me, but Sunday traffic today was mighty Xmasy, in the bad way. Stayed off the roads today because they weren't seeing other cars, let alone us 2 wheelers.
And this getting dark before suppertime...you can have that too. Just makes me sleepy.
And poor Carlotta is sitting parked looking all shiny and bored.
Trying to think of some nice trinket to buy her, but keep coming back to 'maybe a big brother Evo RK'.
