Not cold yet, but cool enough to warrant extra layers and a stocking cap. Haven't started wearing the rabbit lined hat yet but will probably wear it tomorrow night. Have a date with BH to ride after work.

How about you? How many months of riding can you comfortably get in a year's time?

Here, about 12 months! Give or take.
Usually get snow but it usually doesn't stay long, 3-4 days.
But there are exceptions to that, like 2 winters ago.
I insure year round, and can comute daily, and can even get rides in about 100 mile radius. But when you hit the mountains east of the city, it's game over. The main pass, the Coquihalla, has already had snow.

Last winter I golfed with my Dad on Xmas day on Van Island, so there is no predicting what you get.

Well, here I am sitting in Princeton, New Jersery waiting for my wife to get done with work. We drove down yesterday for a seminar she had to do this morning. Had dinner last night at the Big Fish ( Potatoe wrapped Tallipia, with sauteed veggies) that was pretty good. Afterwards we went into town and walked around and had dessert, Coffee and what else???? Yep cake a triple chocolate cake. Bottom layer was dark chocolate, middle layer was milk chocolate, and the top layer was white chocolate. This was frosted with a deep chocolate fudge icing with dark, milk and white chocolate shavings. I didn't want to leave, I could have stayed there till I died (I actually thought I did and went to heaven). Right now it's raining on and off so my sight seeing through this lovely college town is limited.

Awesome Austin pics, Mike. Somehow I missed them when you posted.
Didn't hear much noise coming from this corner.

That's really good work, done in the very best interests of P&Q, selflessly pushing forwards the boundaries of cake consumption. Admirable stuff John! Bring some back with you....

I was having a tough time knowing how long to let my Evo warm up before riding since the weather has turned cool.
I have found the length of time to consume a slice of cake is the PERFECT length of time for warm-up!
Who'd have thunk?
