I only saw Dave and his 98 once this year. He had shoulder surgery on both shoulders last winter and spring, so I don't think he rode much this year. When I saw him (july) he only had temp plates on it. But he has owned it since new, so it's not going anywhere.
We have a Toy Run in the fall, and last year I saw another 98 just like yours, and a woman was riding it. She was an eyecatcher! The bike.......ok, they both were, actually haha

Miscellaneous ramblings...
Hey guys... just got caught up on all of the new posts.
First, my apologies to Sir Graham for insinuating that his beautiful bagger was no longer a Harley nor an Evo! You've done nothing but make the Old Girl even better, Graham!
I will not become an "Elitist" anytime soon... as I am only a lowly Road Master and will be stuck there for some time longer, until 1250 posts...
Bertha is getting some well-deserved chrome polishing today, after we got rained on riding home from our ride today. Those 160 spokes are not going to be so much fun to clean... nor the whitewalls. I may break out the pressure washer!
We didn't make it to the planned venue of the Cherokee Survivors Rally up in Cherokee, NC because of the 70% chance of rain in the forecast. I've been soaking wet at a rally before, and it takes a lot of the fun out of it.
No luck yet in getting rid of Butterfly's V-Star. They are a dime a dozen, and there are tons on Craigslist, etc. Had one nibble from a woman who came to see it Friday a week ago, but she never called back. Butterfly may be stuck with it for awhile, because as much as I hate the thing, I'm not going to give it away with all the custom stuff I have put on it. And she's OK with riding it.
I told her that she would still be welcome here in the Clubhouse, even if she does ride a ricer... cuz she's a GIRL!
Dale, are your pants on???
Oh, and I don't think the taillight red should count as a color, either... but I changed my sig anyway... just to keep things nice and quiet in here...
