You know Graham, rereading these posts I have to say that I DO! There's a LOT of stuff going on...

I got the coffee on, strong and black, with a touch of sugar...

let's eat and then I'll go tinker on my WG. Cleaning the fuel filter this morning.
Also checking for a possible exhaust leak, as she is missing and popping at idle since the last time I pulled the exhaust off. HDF suggested it is a leak...
