Now that is funny, and oh so true.

(of course Cariboo has a higher % and it's cheaper too)

For cooking... how about Falstaff or Old Milwaukee? Those certainly aren't fit to drink!

I remember the girls back in HS used their Dads' OM for washing their hair... it was supposed to make it shiny and smooth or something. We guys just liked the smell, I guess! I can't remember... that was a loooong time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... and receding at warp speed, sadly...

Old chap? Well, I may be old but I'm definitely not assless!! In my 18 months in Germany (long ago, courtesy of my uncle, Sam, you may have heard of him) I consumed enough German beer to keep this thread cake fed for many years to come! Unfortunately, once used in the way I used it, it makes terrible cake, at least so I've been told.

You need to watch more old British films!

It is just possible if you follow the link I gave you will recognise Bitburg beer, where my sister's husband was based for some years, courtesy Uncle Sam! Bitte ein Bit?

It is not wise to recycle beer....

Had to read that twice

I have not had the opportunity to visit Germany, or UK. Yet.
My sister spent some time in Germany, and loved the beer and the scenery.
On the to-do list.

On the contrary, Graham... it is impossible to not recycle beer. In fact, you don't actually buy beer... you just rent it!

Default Bertha's new Arlen Ness Big Derby Sucker!

I really hate to change the subject from cake and recycled/recycling beer, cuz they go together so well... but Bertha's new Derby Sucker came today, and I just put it on! The finned derby cover on it matches all of the other Joker Machine covers on her. It doesn't stick out nearly as far as the Hypercharger did, which will make her more comfortable to ride.

And you're right, Dale... some beer does indeed taste as if it contains a large amount of "post-consumer" recycled ingredients!!!

Thanks, Dale! Guinness would be perfectly appropriate for my "full figured" gal Bertha! And it's my fave, too!
