Default sheet metal fitment

just wondering if anyone knows if you can fit a tank and fenders from an 08 roadking onto a early 90s flhtc electraglide. has anyone done this type of change and if so whats all involved?

Never done it but that would seem like a ton of work to me. I know there are differences in the lowers that make an adapter necessary to use the late model brakes, so that would make the front fender a mess. The tank is likely set up for a dash and the E glide has the fairing, which makes the seats different I think. The rear fender is likely a mess too - I think it is wider than the 90s one as I had real trouble finding a sissy bar for mine.

In the end, though, you can make just about anything fit just about anything if you want to bad enough.
