Question Need help pronto! Thanks!

I'm considering purchasing a '97 ultra and I've noticed that the rear wheel is offset quite a bit to the left side of the fender. Shouldn't it be dead centered in the fender?

Thanks in advance,

John

Default 97 Ultra rear wheel alignment

John,
I own a 97 Ultra. Rear wheel is lined up dead center inside the rear fender.

Wierd! I've gotten responses saying the offset is normal and others saying it's not. I wonder if it's just the rear fender mounted ****-eyed on some of them or if the wheel itself is off. Looking at the way some of these bikes are slapped together, I guess it could be either.

Thanks,

John

I don't recall ever riding with a Harley with an offset rear wheel! Doesn't sound right to me. Can you call a local dealer?
