I've been lurking for awhile. Thought I'd post a few pics. I bought this 2 years ago selling my '98 FXD. The FXD was a little smoother, but I absolutely love this bike. Will probably keep it until one of us dies.

Adding a Ness Taildragger rear fender this winter. Maybe a few other goodies. Any suggestions?

Thats a good lookin bike! I like the blacked out springers, I'm sure they are alot less prone to rust than the chrome ones. I had an 88' and never could keep that frontend looking spotless.

DON'T DO IT MAN! Badboys are collectable, not many made. That's like taking a Hemi Superbird and putting a sun roof in it. If you must, keep the original parts.

looks good. my brother-in-law has one but the dealer had chromed everything on it. no black. in fact the only way he found out it was a badboy is when he had to replace one of the tank emblems, that and looked at the model numbers. hes pretty proud of it.

 

I hear ya man, but this fender owns my soul. I have no choice. I do however, keep all the original parts.

 

Thats a nasty looking spike on the front fender. Great Looking Bike. I changed my rear fender to a wider Taildragger on my 92 Springer.I had to cut the factory struts off and aded the Arlen Ness struts. I sold the original fatbob fender to a friend.

 

Look'n good 95. Really feeling the apes!! I have been considering going to apes lately too. They look great on the bike.
