Most likely messed up the cam or more correctly, the cam messed up the bearing. If it's not eaten away too much of the right engine case, you're OK. If it's a little sloppy, short if being able to wiggle the new bearing with your finger, use Loctite 648 Retaining compound. If you can't find it locally, use Loctite 680 Sleeve Retainer compound.
Good luck

I have a 97 Road King and I just went through this horror...needle bearing went in the cam case resulting with the cam and bearing getting screwed....I knew there was a problem so I parked her asap 950 dollars later and a bill from Harley Service and now I am back on the road.....where you need to be careful is on metal filings travelling throgh the motor...and remember that the oil pump or better yet the oil gears are rite there...if metal gets into there...well you get the idea...it turned out to be a 3 day fix and considering everything, the price was not very much do not start the motor

Possibility of other parts damaged is 50/50 (maybe, maybe not)
The HD EVO Reman program is great, but tear it down first. It would be a shame to drop 2700+ if all he needs is a cam and bearing, ya know? The cam I pictured earlier had 5000 miles on it and the the bearing looked like new, despite the hardface gone of the bearing surface - no further damage to the engine.
If it were mine.... I'd send it off if the cam bearing bore of the case is ruined (HD will repair or replace the case - same price) If the bore is good and there's no damage to the oil pump, fix it at home.
