Exactly where is your crack?
Never heard of any magic formula&nbsp\\;to seal a cracked block or case. Years ago, Bar's Leaks used to work pretty well on a small cooling system leak for awhile. Is there anyway you can get a Dremel tool or something similar into the crack to clean it out and then try the JB Weld without pulling the engine?
&nbsp\\;
If not, then it looks like pulling the engine and your&nbsp\\;JB Weld solution would only be a temporary fix at best. If you have to pull then engine&nbsp\\;then have the crack&nbsp\\;welded if possible. A good weld could also be a permanent repair.

There is nothing I have ever heard you could put in the oil,if there were I would never use it anyway.If your leak is real bad you have no choice.Otherwize just a weeper,use an oilsorbent mat stuff in where the leak is.Good Luck

If the leak isnt real bad I would try RTV....after all that is what seals the case from leaking ....there is no case gasket

If there is anyway to get at it without taking out the motor,groove it out a little,clean it with at least BrakeClean then use JBWeld.

Nothing that will last or that you can trust, the only way to effect repair is to either replace or weld.&nbsp\\;
