N.C. tell him its not avaible .? they can get them up to 90 and after 94. has anyone changed theirs before if so were can we find one&nbsp\\; thanks alot.&nbsp\\; JIM

Anyway, I have not purchased this primary case but I am looking for a new inner primary for my bike too, '86 flst.

 

Seems odd you can't get it through the dealer.Ebay is your best bet!&nbsp\\;

 

My son owns a 94 fxstc and cracked the outer primary cover.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The parts are out there you just have to be patient.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; He found his at a local indy.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;Your friend&nbsp\\;might bring his old one along to see what the difference is.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; It could be something as simple as grinding some internal casting.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Good Luck

 

Depending on where it's cracked, it might be fixable.&nbsp\\; The 79 FLH inners cracked around the transmission shaft bearing and that's junk at that point because any welding will distort it.&nbsp\\; If it's cracked somewhere else from a wreck or something, that can be fixed to good as new.
