Default Transmission oil leak

Hi All ........... I've got an oil leakcoming from the transmission gasket, can't get a new gasket till end of the week. Is there a dip stick or a way to keep an eye on the oil level ?
Silly question (again)?

Nope, no dip stick. Drill a hole through the top an push a straw through to check the fluid.[&:]

The dip stick is the large allan flat head. Check your tranny screws the tranny does not normally leak for no reason on the top.

I have a 98 LR and every now and then my transmission will come out the vent tube when its running on the kick stand. I like to have never figured out where it was coming from. Mine has a dipstick so I am of no help to you. Keep reading the forums here and you will learn a bunch like I have.
