I guess she's fairly unique - 1995 being the 30th anniversary of the original Electra-Glide in 1965. Doesn't mean a thing as far as the resale value of the bike - but I've never seen another, and hope I never do! I've dressed her up a lot, and you'd have to look pretty hard to even know she's a former police bike - the only giveaways are the little chrome buttons on the saddlebag lids, and the "Certified Police Special" on the dash... I've replaced and chromed out everything else. I even have a big Maglite flashlight mounted on the left front saddlebag guard, in a chrome holder I bought on eBay from a cop who makes them.
Sure are some FINE lookin' Evos in this thread!

lol The wife was comparing heights and sitting on mine. The new bike was just too tall for her so I took off the air seat and put on a solo. That is all we have planned as the bike is good the way it is. My dealer has 3 more of these with 11 - 20K in miles. They were all from Rochester NY used in parade and escort duty. Apparently there, each officer is assigned their own bike so it wasn't ridden by a bunch of different people so it was probably taken better care of. It has a lot of nicks and chips but that adds character.
Do your wife a huge favor and get a Burly lowering kit for the rear of that bike. When I got Bertha, I couldn't put both feet on the ground. I replaced the old rock-hard Corbin seat that was on it with a nice cushy Mustang Regal, and that combined with the lowering made it very easy for me to both feet flat. It's MUCH more comfortable, and much safer. She will thank you!
