Computers are cheap, and outdated in a short amount of time. Your Harley is the opposite. I say offer your wife a laptop with a satelite link, and then give her a open tab at Starbucks so she can surf and e-mail late at night while you're in the computer room/shed spending time with your other S. O.

When you put the new enricher cable on be sure to be careful not to let go of the spring or you will never find it and you will be SOL!! Other than that it is pretty simple. Good luck

You might tell the spouse that she can choose between the bike in the living room or sharing the "computer" shack. Worst case: Put a kid in the computer room and the bike in that kid's room.

Well Big Hog, how'd it go? I did mine this evening. For only the second time pulling my carb, it was off in a few minutes. I left the throttle cables on, but all else came off. I didn't need to raise the tank either.

When I put on the new choke cable, I did not tighten the handle/mount with any tools; I only used my fingers. I didn't want to crack that plastic handle again.
