Default Help EVO cyclinder head markings

For those of you that have read my other posts you know I bought a 93 Fatboy from a dealer. I didn't get any history on the bike. I've put about 18,000 miles on it an pulled it apart to see what I had.I thought it was stock. But with help from other forum members I was able to determineit had Wiseco 10:1 pistons, Jims lifters, a Crane cam and the heads were worked over. That leads to my question. On the under side of the head on the spark plug side this is engraved. 17033D. Does anybody recognize this marking? I'm guessing the shop that ported them marked them but I have no idea who that might be. Any help who be greatly appreciated. Ands to everybody that has answered previous questions.

Bill

Here's a link to some pics. The shavings in the intake ports are from me port matching to the new intake I am running.

Well, I don't know what the markings mean, but from what you said about what your bike currently has, I'd say that you have a hot rod!!!

I'd be happy, if I had thaton mine right now.

It didn't run bad. I hope it runs a little better. I'm putting in a V-thunder cam. 244 at .053 and .585 lift. Similiar to a Woods W6H.

Look like stock HD heads, can't see the part number in pic. The number must be something the builder put on them, look like done with an engraving tool.

They're HD castings. Just trying to figure out who did the work. First Harley I've had apart so I'm not sure what a stock port looks like.

I used to mark heads in a similar way using a die grinder when I'd send them out for flow work It was a piece of mind thing to make sure the heads I sent out were the heads I got back
