I guess it depends on how long you plan on staying over here and how many miles you plan on riding whether or not you want to ship your bikes or not But it's probably worth looking into the cost anyways.. Good luck with your journey and might I say welcome to the US...

 

Only a few weeks.... but my son is in the vehicle logistics industry so has some hook ups...

It's been a few years, but we had some friends from down under who flew over and bought scoots to tour on. Shipped them home after their trip. No clue what that would cost these days, but there are deals to be had.
