I'm putting a 1995 Heritage back together and I'm looking for the bolt size for the saddlebag guard upper mounts. HD dealer said it's a discontinued item.

Do you have a sample you can bring to the local hardware store? Whether it be a bolt or the nut it goes into?

 

Have you tried looking at parts diagrams and hardware list.

Which part number,
and can you not just pull the bolt/nut/spacer from the other side to take down to a hardware store to find a replacement?
