That is the most tuning info i have read for these old MM bikes, thanks!
I have a better looking Fuel Pump Factory unit coming from California, costs a bit more but pretty good reviews.
I will be installing this weekend. Until then I have a T@B camper to tinker with, and I just titled a new to me 1990 XR250R!q

Correction. Looks like it is a cheaper looking pump supplied by the same folks, Fuel Pump Factory, but the new one is a quantum and looks way better. Connectors look robust and the filter screen fits TIGHT! on the other one the screen would fall off during removal. Even the rubber covers that space it in the plastic outer housing fit like they should, they were loose on the older one. Just installed it and flipped the switch about 7 times to prime it, still seem kinda gravelly and plenty loud enough to hear.
putting fresh cork and canopy screws on now to run it some, then judge the pump noise.

I just put a few miles on. Bike rips like an "80 with a MM EFI and an EV-13 cam with restricted stock slip-ons. Still makes me smile.
TPS code not cleared yet, I gave her the beans and it responded, but I will check again after some trips to the Triple Nickle Diner and maybe coffee in Pomeroy.
Put some cycles on the cycle.
