OK here's what I was able to get done while I am waiting on a clutch hub bearing . .

Original stainless steel handelbars installed & front brake line connected & front brake mastercylinder blead

Shes looking as original as i can get her back to stock ! The OEM NOS Air Cleaner is complete with OEM original Carb mounting brackets ! as soon as the clutch hub bearing gets here I'll finish her up. Today marks exactly 3 week sense i got her !

Troy, I have to admire your dedication. You do more in three weeks than most people do in three months! Keep up the good work, your bikes look great.

Man, let your socket wrenches cool off a bit.
You are a man after my own heart, going OEM configuration. It shows that you truly love the Harley-Davidson motorcycle as they built it.
I am impressed with the condition of the original paint on that bike. And the chrome has not be undermined with rust over the decades.

Thanks Joe I do my best for the bikes I Rescue, it helps when I have most everything I need before I start ! Right now I am still waiting on clutch hub bearing, hopefully it gets here this week, if all goes as planed I'll have it finished in just about a month !

Finally got the correct bars on her !

Shes looking as stock as i can get her , waiting on some nos oem hardware to finish up the rear wheel belt pully, in the future i will be replacing the chrome engine parts & stripping the black paint on the motor !

I think the correct bars & risers make really big difference !

Howdy yall
finnaly got the primary back on, I could not get the Clutch to operate correctly, after several attempts I decided to pull the kicker cover to look at the throw outbearing, here's what I found !

Heres whats left of the throwout bearing ! After clean up & installing new bearing the Clutch works like it should !

Nothing like Buckhorns.. I got mine off of an 87 FXR from a friend of mine, love them.. I think their best bars ever made even though they're on my '98 Fatboy... The spread is 27"...
I love buckhorns so much that I took my stock 10-in mini apes on my 2013 Street Bob and I bent them into Buckhorns but a little narrower at 24-in.. Them powder coated them satin black, love them.. Coolest looking bars and most comfortable, for me... Everybody has their bone...

By the way that rear rezinked master cylinder looks great...👍
