Going good..
I would definitely replace the ION... Seeing you have it apart that deep it would be a no brained..
I used to keep a complete jacket set on hand one something came up but most of it is depleted now.. Always good to have extra gaskets and seals..

Troy @troy montoya
I fear that my email to you about SE carbs is in your Junk folder!!!
I am looking at the carburetor shown, trying to identify it.
One thing certain...nothing Good has Ever come of running an in-line Gas Filter on a Harley...Ever! Clean the in tank screen and be done!

It looks like the OEM Keihen butterfly carb. Rebuilt the one that was on my '79 FXEF and it worked great, 50mpg.

Nope...I believe I can see the enricher **** peeking from behind the air cleaner...which is Probably a K&N spigot/rubber mounted cleaner!
Making that an original SE, or an Andrews FlowMaster! Mine work Perfect...Once Tuned, Which can be Challenging!! Most in fact give up!
