Nah...I guarantee I have some Stupid, Derogatory, even Erroneous Posts floating out there...I usually carry on to "fix" em and maintain the information flow...as well as the train of thought I may be going thru... Sometimes knowing the process leading to right or even wrong, statements, can be informative!! I Hope!!

Honestly that bike looked in fantastic condition the day you got it. How old are those tires? I love the vintage look of them. What bars are you going with?

the verry first photos of the Machine are missing I think, here's the starting point of how she looked like when she was delivered to me

At least she's still an Original Paint Machine with original Exhaust & Brakes frount & rear, these parts alone can cost hundreds of dollars to source !

Those Apes look absolutly stupid ! & are already GONE ! Whew check out that mile long Clutch Cable Lol

Whats wrong with this picture ? . . . .the original speedometer was changed out to read kilometers for the German state inspection, luckly the origonal was included with the bike !

Dont that look a thousand times better ! In my opinion Stock Rocks !

this is my 3rd Machine I've done like this, this one's a keeper but I might do the next one for sale, there are several things that have to be considered before I chose a bike to restore .

Hi every one hope you're enjoying the weekend, I would like to up load more photos, but can only load 2 at a time sorry any way here is what I've been working on . . .

I took the right side tank off to do a couple of things first i wanted to check out the wiring harness, i also wanted to clean up the rocker boxes i also installedan original choke control becaus i will be replacing the Scremin Eagle carb with an original Keihin Butterfly Carb

I could not get the bike to run smoothly, i sprayed the manifold with brake cleaner wile the motor was running & the motor died ! So after removing the complete carb & compliance fittings heres what i found ! No wounder it was running so crappy ! Once the compliance fittings were replaced she runs like a Top !

Here are some more photos ,. . .

Here you can see the oil lines are really looking pretty sad ! They're not even all the same type ! The top line in this photo is the rear brake line that was replaced with an OEM NOS brake line.along with a new brake light switch .

Here you can see the chrome oil tank has been replaced with the correct 83 & later black oil tank, i have a drip pan under the bike because i think the trans main seal is leaking, next will be to pull the outer & inner Primary !
