That's what I did to both of my bikes.
I routed the hose all the way back to the swing arm.

If you drill and tap the backing plate where the chrome bolts pass through.You can install a couple of hose barbs and send the crud to the ground.

Yeah, if i had some type of instructional/video to go off of I might try that.

I clean the filters as a matter of routine maintenance. Simple process, very easy. Never a drip in several thousand miles.

Yeah but don't you just clean the filters I know there's a tiny little c clip in there, that might be a little cumbersome. But not too much labor 😎

Yea, but with breather filter bolts ,that mess is just puked down the side of the jugs instead.

So may be better off by plugging the channels in the air filter system that leads the filter area, drilling and tapping the channels to add in a hose, so you can tube that mess down and out to the ground, instead of to the air filter void area.

If you can post a photo of the breather channels on back plate,may be able to give you some ideas of how to block/add nipples to tube that mess to the ground or catch can.
