True Duals - yes or no?
I know opinions can vary, however I am considering changing over to a True Dual system for my '86 flhtc. One of the main reasons is to reduce the right side pip heat. The manufacturers do tend to claim that it does even up the heat, left to right. The other reason, I do like the look.
Any real world experience out there?
Any power loss/gains?
Any other things I should consider?

RE: True Duals - yes or no?
Had bassani tru duals, didn't like the quality of the head pipes. Have now reinharts, and loved them. Had mik 42 ev27 and aircleaner and notice a ever slight increase, because of the stepped headder. With a woods w6h, 10:1 and branch heads added to above, holy cow. 2-up is out standing, only .010 over bore. Stock to stock set-up, I would beliver there is a slight numerical loss, however you do not feel it, imo.

RE: True Duals - yes or no?
I've been reading some of the other posts on this same question, and it really does seem to be divided. On one hand, riders have posted increased curves (dynoed) and others have a decrease. It does seem to depend upon the pipes used.
I guess it almost comes down to trial and error, and what feels right to the individual.
This is where a healthy "slush" fund comes in very handy
