Hi Max Head flow, just looking at your lifting arrangement off your head breather bolt holes. As i often work alone on my bike/motor and have just finished a 113 build to swap into my 86 FXWG and have been wondering can i get the motors in and out by myself. Seems to me its a fair bit of weight hang of those bolts? just asking as i have never pulled the motor before.

How many miles on the new pistons that you replaced - the cylinders seem by the picture have gotten very hot
.012 run out of the shaft is always scary to measure in that spot - truing the wheels is done as close to the flywheel as you can with out hitting it
my guess poway was hot this summer

The 0.012 runout was from the pinion nut pressing against the cam case from me turning the crank backwards.. Pulled the cam cover and found the loose pinion nut, checked again and got 0.002"

S&S 113' is a very sweet engine, in the right bike build it's an instant hard-on to ride. No hiding it when she fire up. I use to cruise through a shopping center parking lot just to set of car alarms everytime we had one in the shop during the test ride

We're talking about the S&S, a lot of the box chopper bikes late 90's & early 2K yrs has them or Rev-Tech crap they were putting out back them. The Moco had just got to 88" then 96", over 103 was later still
