The main problem with the head breathers leaking is the way it's implemented in the rocker base. You can see in the picture that it is mounted sideways. While it does have a way to suck back residual oil, it doesn't work very well.

The newer ones use TC type head breathers..

Finished the carb. Still need to replace the Tjet hose and setup the tjet air bleed..

I cut the throttle shaft in such a way that I think it will keep from cracking.. O rings came from McMaster, soft silicon.. It was good to have a sample carb to get the throttle blade assembled right.

either a new type of bracket for a primary chain adjuster or a pivot bearing for the rear swing arm...???

I am on my second set of Jim’s - at some point they start to slip from wear but it was 25 years at least

It was the easy way to get the radius right. Cut diameter to a few thou below the timken race hole size.
