Blew my engine yesterday

Indeed😊 I MIGHT go that route, but I'm more interested in fixing it as a means of learning. It wasn't completely stock when I bought the bike anyway, so we'll see what happens.
Oh and it must be fate, because I was whining about it yesterday, today I get the call from Jireh that it's shipping tomorrow WOO HOO!!!!!

It is an enricher and not a choke.. As Griz said there is a lever on the back side of the air filter mounting plate.. Only to be used for starts if necessary because it adds a lot of fuel.. As soon as the motor starts push it down and use the throttle and throttle lock to keep it running off necessary..

Yep! Once I opened the box & looked at the other parts, I saw the lever and did the math.
I didn't realize that was part of the backing plate, I thought it was either part of that plunger assembly or integrated into the body of the carburetor. When I opened the box to get pics, I didn't see that on the carb, & I was like "wut the hell?", another box contained some hardware & the air cleaner assembly lol.
Now I know!
