I have been using the TC filter on my Evo Softail for several years, because I wanted to cut down on different types of filters on the shelf. Never had a problem, and the factory says the filter can be used.
I didn't know that but it makes sense. The worst that could happen would be slightly higher pressure due to the micron restriction. In theory.
I'll phase out the Evo filters I have, restore some much needed shelf space.
