16x3 rim rear rim finally showed up. Should get it swapped this week

Have you bottomed out the rear suspension to see if it hits the seat? One of the builds on my 1972 XLCH was set up in a similar manner. First had some FX shocks on the swingarm and what looks to be about the same clearance as your pics. I checked to see if the fender would hit, but forgot to check it with my butt on the seat. Speed bump in the housing development showed me that I might've missed something, LOL!

What dimensions are the seats on both bikes , and the ignition set up on the side is tight

yeah length ,width about to pull the trigger on 1 and dont want to buy the wrong size
