I have no problem at all with the loss in power.
Granted I have to drop a gear on the '94 that I don't have to do on the '95 but that's not really a problem.

THC, I haven't met you (yet), but here's what I know:
1. Like every other Texan I've ever met, I think you really like Texas.
2. You like really hot temperatures.
3. You like really hot, spicy food.
So the answer to your original question is, sadly, "Yes, you are nuts."
But regarding your motor swap, my thoughts are (as always): "Life is short. Do what makes you happy!"
If the idea of putting your original EVO motor back in your bike will make you happy, do it.

I say put the EVO back in and do a build centered around the 111. Not talking a meat and potatoes build, but a head turner. You got the shop and the skills. You would have to invest in polish and wax.

That last engine was $5500 and that was 10 years ago.
