Ignition switch relocation question

Ignition switch relocation question
I’m going to be installing a rake kit on my ‘90 Tour Glide trike. The ignition switch will have to be relocated. Since I never use the acc position, is there any reason I can’t use a simpler switch like on the Dyna or Sporty? I’m really just looking at off and on. How would such a switch be wired since the original has four wires? Any help would be appreciated. I’m new to the forum.

The Sportster switch has two hot wires, both on when ign switch is on.
You can just wire your new switch to the breakers just like a Sportster.
Run the hot wires to the copper studs on the breakers, since you have 3 breakers and only 2 hot wires, you will need to bridge two breakers together with a short jumper wire, so both breakers are powered by one wire.
Thats how the early `90`s Sportsters do it.
