HD oil filter part number for evo?

Alrighty, I returned the dealer filter and went to Napa. They didn't have the Wix filter but had the Napa 1215 unit. So got a filter and have Mobil 1 v-twin 20-50. Read about the oil purge for a full and complete oil change, any thoughts on the importance of that? Any special tools required?

I would say trying to remove every last ounce of oil, unless it’s contaminated in some critical way, is kind of silly. The ratio of new oil to the used residual oil is quite high.
Synthetic oil and dyno oil are compatible. I don’t think it could change the molecular structure of either oil by mixing in the other.

If you're OCD then it's very important, if you aren't then it isn't.

Been through "Burnie" many times. Can't remember if it was there or Bandaras that I got my hat. It was the town that had the sign that was in some country video, something like "our town is a piece of heaven, don't drive through it like hell." I think Bandaras.
The shop manual, which you should own (we cannot stress that enough), says don't worry about purging the old oil, that there's only a couple ounces. Others totally go **** and come up with innovative ways to get that last bit out, like have a spare filter with a hole in the bottom, put it on, fill with new oil, crank until only clean comes out, switch to new filter. I have never worried about it.

I just run the Evo and TC filters as intended, never a problem. Yes, no, mabye so, I don't know, I've read different answers.
The only question I have is the nut driven KN Evo and TC filters. Seems like a good idea but I've never used KN on any vehicle I've ever owned. On the Harley it seems like an easier way to remove the filter. Are they good?
