That and I know exactly how the Bottom end effects the wrist pin... but... still contend the Assembler [certainly not a mechanic] causes this far more than bottom ends do.... Like putting a Spirolock where a circlip belongs...Pistons have a Specific keeper they are designed for...
Have to agree, I've used the teflon buttons, never run across the aluminium ones.

If it was a Spiro lock.. I can't see it coming out unless the previous assembler used the wrong clips. Like Racepres said the piston is designed for a specific clip.. A Round circlip like Wiseco uses or Spiro locks like Axtell uses.. **** you know hard it is to remove a Spiro lock?

The aluminum are basically correct for extreme Duty... racing.
Like You I only use Teflon for street motors..Even at that... i still do Not see how one can get out or Disappear..
Did Not mean to muddy the water by showing the aluminum buttons... easiest picture to find that shows the Shape/Style... for that...I Apologize... I hate Muddy water.. Cost me plenty to get a new well so we would Not have that!!!! Just last Fall!!!!
