Cannot comment on your product.. Only ever used OEM or CE stuff. Let us know how it works out for you.. Also I would use a Drag Specialties before a no name...

I look at it like: How much is your stator worth to you?

I agree with you doc..
Maybe the OP should install a volt meter to use as an early warning system...

Japanese stuff is usually pretty good but like you $25 seems a bit cheap.

Just bough a volt meter. I'm used to having a touring bike that had one on it so now I'll put one on the wide glide. Only reason I bought this cheap volt reg is because they used the HD part number to advertise. Hope it works.

I've roasted my electrical system 3 times in 12 years. It's a PITA when you get stranded in the middle of nowhere Wyoming. I'll never cut corners on those parts ever again. This last time I bought a Cycle Electric (CE) kit, it was spendy but comparing the components side by side there was a definite difference in the weight and quality. So far so good at 2 years....

Used a lot of that brand on shovels years ago, had no problems with any of it. Basically it's white box Japanese stuff which honestly was pretty decent quality. Lot of internal motor stuff from them went into countless shovels over the years. I'd take a dixie product over china **** any day.

Think old stock been on a shelf a while that got bought in a bulk lot and is being parted out, seen it many times.
