Same here. That's why I jumped when I came across this one!!

 

I'll be getting one of the cheap ones off ebay probably next friday for my 96 RK. Mostly for the missus, I don't really get much chance to hit the highway for any length of time to necessitate the NEED for a tour pak. Luckily a friend's ol man had a pile of leftover bits and pieces from his Ultra and let me have it all, included the quick release mounting kit.

I have an old gf shovel one, seen below, on my FLHS which predates the RK, but recently bought a lovely near-new abs twincam one from an RK owner - can't have too much of a good thing!

 

Picked up the new tumbler today and got a pleasant surprise. 2 new keys for the EVO with the tumbler! Was not expecting that. Pretty cool. Anyway tour pack is all locked up fully functional.

I'll get there.....adapted the 97 and up quick release to Ester...the 89 FLHS. So it should be a piece of cake when I get to it. Loved being able to put the pack on and off at will in 30 seconds.
