Default S&S breather bolts 17-0338

Anyone else have the same problem . My evo Engine has Eldelbrock Heads and intake my problem is that my S&Sbreather bolt broke. And tryed to order new one from S&S but those bolt where discontinued , They told me that i need the new version 17-0846 that would work. They dont work to much meat on the bolt head where the back plate sits on i had them machined down to 1/8 " inch , I still have a 3/16 gap
between the back plate and carb, any suggestions

Good luck.I happened across onefrom a local indy..look up one if there any in your area. While I was looking, I JB welded it back together and rode it that way for a month or so..worked fine.Just replace the O ring..Also JP cycles may have some. Those guys have almost everything for old bikes like mine(Dont JB weld the inside, just the uncovered part. When you find one ,just hit the stuff lightly and it will crack off easily enough. The enrichner handle actually holds it on.

if you do find one or havent already put one in,dont screw it too tightly or it will break also...just check it for snugness once in awhile...a little oil may seep out on the heads/fins,but it beats the alternative....not finding another..NO LOCTITE.
