Looks like you got it. The lowest nipple on the tank is the oil feed to the pump. Oil return is the scavenge side of the pump that goes to the oil filter and then the oil filter back to the tank. I have my vent and filter return switched at the tenk compared to the way you have it but I don't think it will make any difference...

Looks right, double check that oil is going in around the outside and out through the middle of the filter.

You can look inside the oil tank with a mirror, the vent should be the highest tube.

Any considerations about riding with passenger during running-in?
For some bikes, i remember, it was not recommended.

On many tanks the return is routed to the opposite side of the tank so the hot oil is not going right back out...

I'll have to check mine but I thought ( on mine) the return parallels the vent but it's shorter than the vent..
