Just picked up a 94 FXR Superglide........

A lot of the mods you’ve done I was considering. How difficult was the wiring of the Motogadget accessories and control switches??

well the M-unit system is amazing...piece of cake, Pop's garage did all that so I cannot say first hand.
I do know the hand controls themselves are tricky at the bars, because of how small, sleek, and precise they are...individual holes were drilled & chamfered, per button/wire.

I just sold my fatboy and I have a 94 FXR I'll be dumping about $12k into. I've been looking at that Ohlins and Brembo set up for quite sometime...Looks to be about $6800 for the full set. Does that sound about right? Or is there a cheaper way to find the parts?

If you haven't found him yet look up Howard Messner of Motorcycle Metal, HDF sponsor and suspension guru. Whatever you have in mind he can supply it, indeed tunes Ohlins products for optimum performance on a Harley.

He's a proper business and HDF members have visited him. His member name is FastHarley and he's been around HDF for many years as a sponsor. His contact details are in the Vendor directory. His website is modest, shall we say, however his knowledge of suspension and Ohlins is exemplary. He's been building and tuning Ohlins suspension for Harleys since before Ohlins themselves discovered us!
