The paint and the over all mechanical build is great, I'm just not diggin' the quilted seat & saddle bags, the over size cafe fairing and the groin protector.

Your FOB once it hits the prox switch it lights the bike up as if you're manually turning a switch. Then you can start. The newest bike I have is 2010 so I'm used to just a security FOB, that dies. I assume your FOB is RFID so it's passive, no battery required.

If that Motogadget is reliable I'll do that on my FXR build. I have an old RK that I would like to rewire one of these days. Update to keyless FOB security.

All properly ridden FXRs should have skid plates.

sure is...they even make a small one, the size of a grain of rice you can sew into you glove...check it out.

Any reason for the choice of Dunlop K591's ?

I used the dunlop k591’s for road racing in super sport class back in the eighties.
Great race tire
