Default Seat Fitment Help

Traded my sporty for a 1998 Heritage Softail classic
Im keeping all the stock parts in case i ever sell it.
but id like a new seat for it, preferably a HD take off.
can anyone point me in the right direction to see what HD seats will fit on my bike? in a perfect world im looking for a 2 up pillow top seat or something of that style.
not too big of a fan of the lepera or mustang seats, id prefer a original HD seat.

thanks in advance for any advise

Have you tried e-bay or Robs used Harley parts?

I thought a Softail seat was a Softail seat... but, I suspect for some reason the MoCo may have changed that ****...
For some reason..I always liked the Original Softail [not Heritage] seat... don't really care for the "name" embossed into it... but, pretty nice seat..
this one

thats the style of seat that i want...just wasnt sure if it would fit, ive seen cheap ones on Ebay and HDforum, i might just have to bite the bullet and give it a shot.
was just wondering if there was a site that could see compatability....

thanks for the reply,

thanks for the reply,
Include your year model in your searches...maybe.
I believe Mustang used to [maybe still do] make a seat alot like that one also...Good luck

Harley still lists the pillion seat for the Heritage Classic, which is 14" wide, say it fits with your solo seat? #52912-00. Sounds as if it will do the trick!
