Default Extended brake pedal job

Hey, so im curious whos done this job and is it very difficult? It says in the service manual you need to take off the whole assembly and use a drift punch to get the pin out of the brake pedal arm. That sounds difficult.

I did it on a '95 Heritage.
The hardest part was getting the rubber foot pad off the old brake peddle and putting it on the new one.

To be honest I don't really remember all that much about what I did as it was the first mod I did to my bike over 10 years ago.
I just don't remember anything being difficult like removing the pad.
IIRC all I did was unbolt the old and bolt on the new.

OK so not as big a deal as I thought! I got it off without taking the whole assembly, just a bit of a trick to get the pin out of the plunger. It worked though and now I got a great longer pedal I found on ebay for $35!

Glad you got it worked out.
I'd tell you to go out and ride but I don't know what the weather is around you and some places in the country are getting hit hard with winter.

Did the later model master cylinder when installing a extended brake pedal, got rid of the remote reservoir ugliness.
