It looks like someone changed the running/turn signal light that's why you have a BE(blue) & V(violet) wires in connector 4B. That should also be why you have that BK(black) wire that is not used. The O(orange) wire should be in opposite the R(red) wire. Also check to see that connector 4A has a commoning tab 3 place installed. If it is missing, that could be why the green & orange wires were together.

Nice Diagram/pic, I assumed it was the right front also (4a/b).
Using your meter/test light, on the bike/harness side connector (female), start mapping out which wire does what and label them, then do the same for the turn signal side of connector (male). Compare it to the diagram and it will all make sense. YD
