What do you guys do for oil lines? 1990 flhtcu

When I redid my '91 I used 3/8 transmission line because it is far stronger and metal fittings at the oil pump. In my case the oil lines to the filter chafed against the engine so I put heater hose on them where they hit the engine. I also used fuel injection clamps instead of worm gear clamps. Good luck.

well i dunno what happened there, but I lost everything i typed. Dont feel like retyping everything again.
used power steering return hose. Brass fittings. Tried heating the hose with 3/8" steel tubing inserted...didnt work so well to hold the required bend. So that's what I ended up with. Pic of bike before I tore it all down. Weird

No real plans. At this point it's mostly reassmebl, with a little cleaning left. Still need to remove the rear fender so I can buff it out. This was the dirtiest motorcycle I've ever seen, with some cobbled-up repairs thrown in. But the wiring harness hadn't been tampered with, and it did run pretty good. But it needed valve seals, and the black paint on the cases etc looked horrible. Snowballed from there.
I'll probably have to keep it for a while, just to get my time out of it.

hose
Try King's idea, but also go to the parts store and ask to go where ever the hose is, fuel injector hose will take a bend without kinking better than regular fuel line, but my point is to go and try bending different hose they have to test which works better.
Also, napa usually has all their molded hose hanging up, when I need to rig something like that, I go and see what they have to work with, maybe use parts of molded hose and hard (brake) line to get what you need to work.
