96' Road King Cam upgrade with MM EFI
#61
***UPDATE***
Shop finally called today. The check engine light ended up being a low voltage code caused by a loose relay switch so the Magnetti Marelli is off the hook!
The EV-13 has been installed along with a Torrington bearing, my donated 97 ECM (thank you Diablo Dainese), new air cleaner and power commander V. A new map was loaded and they plan on doing some heat cycles tomorrow. I wasn't aware of the need for heat cycling for a cam install. Is this normal?
Too damn cold and and icy to ride so unfortunately the bike goes back into storage. Plan on hearing it run after work on Wednesday. It's going to be a long spring.

I plan on doing exactly that. This past summer I had my starter switch go bad while on a road trip near Sturgis. Black Hills Harley put in a new switch (had to solder and splice a newer part #) and replaced the starter relay along with cleaning up the electrical connections on the right side cover. I suspect it might have been that but want to know the code to confirm.
