I have the diaphragm type, 85.
when my bike was new I had a problem with the belt guard rubbing the top of the rear drive belt. The dealer replaced the belt under warranty.
Later I discovered that the aluminum clutch hub was cracked in the shaft keyway. A common problem caused by overtightening the clutch hub nut.
When I discovered the crack the dealer denied responsibility and warranty had expired.
